An object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force
I always liked physics.
From the earliest days of high school study, sitting in Mr. Archebaleta's disorganized classroom, I found this science fascinating. It explained so much of how things worked and provided mathematical explanations to seemingly inexplicable questions.
How do things float?
What is the gravitational force of the Earth exerted on the moon?
At what angle with a projectile object travel the greatest horizontal distance?
You get the point.
But one aspect of my early study of this fundamental science never quite clicked, and that's the Law of Inertia.
The law of inertia, or Newton's First Law, states that and object in rest will stay at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force, thus, and object in motion will stay in motion of the same criterion is met. At first, I imagine a ball rolling. A ball would roll and roll and roll, but eventually, it had to stop. How could it go on forever??? Surely it would run our of surface or it would just roll off the face of the earth or it would get tired? I couldn't comprehend that universe devoid of friction, such a mass would continue on its course, unscathed, infinitely...
So why am I talking about physics? This is a travel blog right?
Basically, I love metaphors....I'm that object....and I'm in a perpetual state of motion.
I realize that I'm never going to have time to blog and write things down because I don't have any time to sit down in one place because I'm constantly moving. I only have time right now to even write this because my flight got delayed by 2 hours. So I'll just try to catch you up to speed and where I am now in life. I won't finish the Japan trip for a while but I'll definitely finish writing about it in the future. I really should do these on a daily basis so stuff doesn't compound, but alas, there is only so much sunlight in the day, and wifi access in the places I'm staying. Also, it takes a while to upload photos and I don't have the time right now but I will surely do it all later. I apologize if this isn't that engaging for lack of visual media. If you were that child that only read picture books and couldn't handle text, you probably should just stop now and go look at Alpaca gifs.
Okay....muy rapido. My life:
I know that was a LOT. Thanks for reading. I just wanted to catch up on everything and knew I would never get around it to if not now. Posts will be more engaging in the future. Peace Out!
Also, shout out to Nana Jo and Grandpa Stan! Miss you two lots! First I hear of it!
Until next time.
